Scheuerman '15 Joins Green Bay Packers

EASTON, Pa. - Four-time All-Patriot League Selection Ross Scheuerman '15 has joined the Green Bay Packers practice squad it was announced on Tuesday by Packers' Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Scheuerman ended his collegiate career with 3,504 rushing yards and 31 rushing touchdowns in four seasons, marks that place him third and fourth, respectively, in the Lafayette record books. He also finished with 129 career receptions for 1,129 yards and eight TD's. In his senior season, he churned out 1,868 all-purpose yards, the sixth best mark in the nation. His most memorable game in that season was a 304-yard, three-touchdown performance in a win over archrival Lehigh on Nov. 22, 2014 in front of a sold out crowd at Yankee Stadium in the 150th Meeting of College Football's Most-Played Rivalry.

Scheuerman originally signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers as a non-drafted free agent on May 8, 2015. He was placed on injured reserve early in training camp and was released on Aug. 28, 2015. Scheuerman will wear No. 26 for Green Bay.
