CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Lafayette men's soccer team placed 16 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll for 2016, the conference office announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Freshman Dylan Royalty led the way for the team, registering a perfect 4.00 grade-point average in his first semester as a collegiate student-athlete. Fellow rookies Colin Morrissey and Matt Rytel also excelled in the classroom, recording 3.90 and 3.93 GPA's, respectively.

To be eligible for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must have a 3.20 or higher grade-point average during the academic semester which coincides with his/her sport.
