EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette has hired Josh Bordwick as an assistant coach for the men's soccer team.
Bordwick comes to Easton after serving as an assistant coach and head of recruitment at Swarthmore for the 2025 season. While coaching the Garnet, Bordwick led all aspects of recruitment as well as developing scouting reports, game plans and match day insights through film analysis. His day-to-day responsibilities included planning, implementing and running training sessions.
"We're excited to have Josh join the coaching staff," head coach Dennis Bohn said. "He brings plenty of experience that'll help our players get better in a multitude of ways."
Bordwick is no stranger to the Patriot League, having previously worked as an assistant coach at Lehigh during the 2024 campaign. Bordwick led training sessions for the team's goalkeepers. Bordwick was a part of a coaching staff that took Lehigh back to the Patriot League Tournament for the first time since 2021.
In addition to being a collegiate assistant coach, the Lambertville, N.J. native also serves as the head coach of the U16 team for Lehigh Valley United and a coach at FC Delco.
Bordwick graduated from Muhlenberg in December of 2022, earning a bachelor's degree in business administration with a minor in anthropology and sustainability studies. While there, Bordwick was featured in 71 matches and captained the squad for two seasons, including in 2022 when the Mules won the Centennial title and advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament.
Bordwick replaces Lamine Balde who left to become the head men's soccer coach at Frostburg State.
