LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Lafayette College volleyball team snapped its sets-lost streak on Saturday evening at Bucknell, but ultimately dropped the match, 3-1.
After losing the first set, the Leopards (5-13, 0-6 PL) came back to even the match at a set apiece taking the second set, 25-19, over the Bison (6-10, 1-4 PL).
Freshman
Leanna Deegan tallied a career-high and match-best 19 kills and classmate
Grace Tulevech added 18 kills, hitting .459.
Junior
Julia Howard has a career-high 52 assists on the evening, which is second-most in the Patriot League this season in a single match.
Sophomore
Jenna Bailey's transition to attacker has gone smoothly, posting a career-best nine kills in the loss and classmate
Audrey Mangum notched a career-high 21 kills.
The Leopards will head to Navy for match five of a five-match road trip and a midweek contest on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
