- The Leopards match up with Loyola for their second opportunity to knock off the Patriot League's top team this season as Lafayette defeated then first-place Lehigh on Oct. 13, 1-0.

- In its short history, the Lafayette-Loyola matchup has been a tight one with five of the eight total meetings requiring extra time. Additionally, seven of the eight games have been decided by a goal or less and in overtime games, each team has won two while recording a draw in one. 

- Freshman goalkeeper Alex Sutton is ranked third in the Patriot League and first among rookies in save percentage with a .797 average. The New York native has five shutouts on the season, fourth most in the League.

- Senior Joe DeStefano has been an anchor on the defense his entire career on College Hill and that has been no different in 2018. The captain has played all 1,530 minutes this season and has been honored as the Patriot League's Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 15.
