EASTON, Pa. – The Lafayette College volleyball team could not find a rhythm on Thursday evening at
Kirby Sports Center as the Leopards fell in straight sets to Navy.
Freshman
Leanna Deegan led the way for Lafayette (5-11, 0-15 PL) with eight kills to go along with two digs. Classmate
Grace Tulevech and junior
Katrina Ruggiero were close behind with seven kills apiece.
Tulevech also notched four digs and two blocks while Ruggiero added 10 kills against the Midshipmen (20-8, 12-3 PL) in the home finale.
Freshman
Kelly Austin had six kills while classmates
Hannah Goodacre had 13 kills and
Madi Wahrmund had five kills and two blocks.
The Maroon and White will travel to Holy Cross for the regular season finale on Saturday with first serve set for 4 p.m.
