EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette College Director of Athletics
Sherryta Freeman announced Wednesday that a change in leadership will take place for the 2019 season as Terri Dadio Campbell will not return after spending the previous 17 seasons as the head coach of Lafayette Volleyball.
Â
"I want to thank Terri for her commitment and service to Lafayette College and to the student-athletes who have been a part of the volleyball program," Freeman said. "We wish her the best in her future endeavors."
Â
A national search to fill the position will begin immediately and assistant coach
Colton Reinholtz will serve as the interim leader of the program.
Â
A 1992 graduate of Lafayette, Dadio Campbell took over the program in 2002 and compiled a 164-318 record with the Leopards and 53-197 in the Patriot League. The Maroon and White's best season under Dadio Campbell came in 2006, when Lafayette finished 18-10 and earned a Patriot League Tournament berth.
Â
"We will begin a national search immediately and are committed to identifying a strong leader for the future of Lafayette Volleyball," added Freeman.
Â
Dadio Campbell returned to College Hill after spending seven seasons as the head volleyball coach at Washington & Lee where her teams compiled a 159-48 record before returning to her alma mater.
