- The Crosstown Tournament began in 2008 and has been apart of the Leopards' schedule every year since, excluding 2010 and 2012. Overall, Lafayette holds an 18-10 record in the event.
- Lafayette has featured four freshmen in the starting lineup for each of its first two contests of 2018 as
Kelly Austin,
Grace Tulevech,
Madi Wahrmund and
Leanna Deegan have made consecutive starts.
- The Maroon and White have started two different liberoes in games one and two as sophomore
Audrey Mangum got the nod against Duquesne in the opener and freshman
Hannah Goodacre wore the contrasting color againt Saint Peter's. Each have seen time in every set of 2018 thus far.
- The match against Rutgers on Saturday will be the first matchup with a power-five conference member since Lafayette squared off with Oregon State in the Seattle University Tournament in 2014. It marks the first matchup with the Scarlet Knights since 2012, when the Leopards travled to New Brunswick.
