Men's Soccer Welcomes La Salle on Wednesday

Leopards to take on the in-state foe at 7 p.m. at Oaks

- The Leopards have given up just four goals in their opening five games, marking the least amount of goals given up in the first five games since the 2012 season when Lafayette sacrificed only one goal in those contests.

- Junior forward James Gibson has the most goals (4) through five games for the Leopards since the 2007 season when Scott Hawkins '08 netted four in the opening five games.

- Freshman goalkeeper Alex Sutton made Lafayette history this season when he was named the Patriot League Goalie of the Week on Sept. 3, becoming the first freshman in program history to receive the honor. Sutton recorded back-to-back shutouts marking the first time a freshman recorded a shutout for the Leopards since Oct. 14, 2014 when Brad Seeber '17 was perfect in a 1-0 victory over Buffalo.

- The backline of captains senior Joe DeStefano and junior Christian Williams has been a large part of the success in the early part of the season. Along with Sutton, the trio has played all 460 minutes of the 2018 season.
