HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Lafayette College volleyball team opened its first road Patriot League weekend of the season with a loss at Colgate in straight sets on Friday night at Cotterell Court.
Colgate (7-8, 2-1 PL) hit .333 in the opening set to get the early advantage over the Leopards (5-10, 0-3 PL) who were playing their first of five-straight Patriot League road contests.
Freshman
Grace Tulevech lead the Maroon and White with 10 kills and two blocks in the loss as classmate
Kelly Austin went 6-2-11, hitting .364 while adding two blocks.
Junior
Julia Howard tallied 20 assists and moved into sole possession of seventh place on the all-time Lafayette assists list with 1,174 in her Lafayette career.
The Leopards will make a quick turnaround as they matchup with the Army Black Knights on Saturday at 4 p.m. in West Point, New York.
