HANOVER, N.H. – The Lafayette College volleyball team fell in a 3-0 decision on Friday to an undefeated opponent in Boston College in the opening game of the Dartmouth University Tournament.
Freshman
Leanna Deegan led the way for the Leopards (2-5) with nine kills and adding two digs against the Eagles (7-0).
Junior
Katrina Ruggiero added six kills to go along with four digs and classmate
Julia Howard tallied two kills on top of her 18 assists.
Lafayette will be back in action Saturday for the second day of the tournament, squaring up with host Dartmouth at 1 p.m. and Siena at 4:30 p.m.
