- The Leopards dropped their season opener on the road at No. 12 Rutgers a week ago, falling by a respectable 14-8 margin. Sophomore

- Freshman
Ryan Ness made his debut between the pipes for the Maroon and White at Rutgers, making 14 saves and allowing 14 goals in all 60 minutes of action. Ness was a First-Team All-State and All-NJAC selection following his senior season at Chatham High School in Chatham, New Jersey.
- A win on Saturday would mark the first head coaching victory in the short career of Lafayette head man
