SPARTANBURG, S.C.  – Senior
Dan Leckie put together his second 2-for-4 game in as many days, but the Lafayette baseball team fell to Wofford, 13-3, Saturday afternoon at King Field.

Wofford (13-7) scored nine unanswered before Lafayette (3-12) finally plated a run in the fifth when sophomore
Michael Landry opened the inning with a double down the left field line, advanced to third, and came home on a ground out by freshman
Justin Johnson.

The Leopards pushed across two more in the eighth when Leckie singled and drove home senior
Richard Villa and junior
Mark Glover who reached on a walk and an error, respectively.

Senior
Kyle Johnson was solid in relief, going 2.2 innings, allowing just one run on three hits.

Andrew Orzel was productive out of the leadoff spot for the Terriers, going 3-for-5 with an RBI and four runs scored.

The series will come to a close Sunday afternoon with first pitch set for 1 p.m. at King Field before Lafayette travels to South Carolina Upstate for a Tuesday contest.
