EASTON, Pa. –
Gabriel Robinson, who is in the midst of his third season on the men's soccer coaching staff, has been promoted to the top assistant position.

Andrew Foster," Robinson said. "It's been great to return back to Easton and it's been a great opportunity developing student-athletes back in my hometown. Starting at Lafayette and now being promoted to top assistant with the senior class that I began the journey with has been an amazing experience."
Last season, Robinson helped lead the Leopards to a 9-7-5 record and the programs 12
th Patriot League Tournament Championship appearance. During its run to the championship, Lafayette compiled 10 shutouts on the season, finishing 17
th nationally in shutout percentage (0.476) and 31
st nationally in team goals against average (0.941).
In 2018, he was part of a coaching staff that finished the year with the Leopards in the top-50 nationally in goals against average and goalkeeper

th nationally in save percentage. He also helped coach defender
Christian Williams to an All-Patriot League Third Team selection.
As a player, Robinson, a local product from Easton, played at both Cincinnati and Duquesne. At Cincinnati, he was a two-time Academic All-Conference selection earning honors by both the Big East and American Athletic Conference and in 2012, was a contributing factor in the team's school-record six consecutive shutouts as well as was named to the TopDrawSoccer.com Top 100 Freshmen list.
At Duquesne, he was a part of the Dukes team that recorded an all-time program record seven consecutive shutouts, finishing the season with nine total in his final season. He graduated from the latter with a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts.
