EASTON, Pa. – Junior co-captain
Justin Jaworski of the Lafayette men's basketball team suffered a season-ending knee injury against Army on Wednesday evening and will miss the remainder of the 2019-20 season, the program announced on Friday morning.

The third-leading scorer in the Patriot League this season at 17.1 points per game, Jaworski was a Patriot League Player of the Year candidate after earning all-league third-team honors a year ago. On Jan. 8, he became the program's 46
th 1,000-point scorer and currently sits 31
st on Lafayette's all-time scoring list with 1,162 career points.

The Schwenksville, Pa. native ranks in the top three in the Patriot League in three different categories this season including threes per game (2
nd, 2.6), free-throw percentage (2
nd, 86.7%) and scoring (17.1 ppg). He registered a pair of 30-point games this season, dropping 31 in 30 minutes in an upset victory over Saint Joseph's on Dec. 3 and tallying 32, with 14 coming in the final 6:22 to knock off American on Feb. 1.

Lafayette returns to action on Saturday afternoon, traveling to Worcester, Mass. for a meeting with Holy Cross at 2 p.m.
