EASTON, Pa. - Head coach Mike McGarvey announced the addition of seven incoming student-athletes to the 2026-27 men's basketball roster. 

"We're thrilled to welcome our new players on College Hill. Collectively, they are a group of high achieving leaders bringing with them high school, NCAA, NJCAA, national team and international pedigree," McGarvey said. "Their experience, positional size and skill sets mesh well with our returners. We're excited to get started!"

0 | Cooper Kesler | So. | G | Idaho Falls, Idaho

Kesler brings a winning pedigree to Lafayette after a standout period at both Hillcrest High School and the College of Southern Idaho. The 6-foot-3 guard helped lead the CSI team to the 2026 NJCAA National Championship game while averaging 13.4 points and 4.0 rebounds per contest as a freshman, earning Region 18 Tournament MVP and Second Team All-Scenic West Conference honors. He dropped a career-high 27 points on Feb. 7 against North Idaho College. His career-high eight 3-pointers came next at Colorado Northwestern Community College on Feb. 12. 

Earlier in his career, Kesler guided Hillcrest to the 2022 Idaho 4A State Championship and was named High Country Conference Player of the Year, as well as Post Register All-Area Player of the Year. He finished with 1,135 career points. The guard has AAU experience with Select Basketball under coach Shelby Lindley. An NJCAA Academic All-American, Kesler will arrive in Easton as a Liberal Arts major. He also served on a two-year LDS mission in Reno, Nevada.

3 | Shelton Henton | So. | G | Bellevue, Wash. 

A dynamic scoring guard, Henton joins the Leopards after spending the 2025-26 season at the Colorado School of Mines, a Division II institution in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. He appeared in all 32 games with 23 starts in his debut season, earning RMAC Rookie of the Year and All-RMAC Honorable Mention. Henton contributed 23.8 minutes, 10.6 points and 2.3 rebounds per night while ranking in the top five in the league in three-point field goals and three-point percentage. 

He had productive stops at Interlake High School and Phoenix Preparatory High School (PHH) in Washington and Arizona, respectively. He averaged 30 points and 10 rebounds at Interlake, before posting 28 points, 10 rebounds and two steals per game at PHH. Henton earned KingCo First Team All-League and KingCo MVP honors while setting the school's single-game scoring record with 45 points. Away from the court, Henton competed as a Junior Olympic water polo athlete and earned Eastside Private Golf All-Star recognition, showcasing his versatility as a multi-sport competitor. He will major in Mechanical Engineering at Lafayette following valedictorian status at PHH.

4 | Aaron (AJ) Collins Jr.  | Fr. | G | Brooklyn, N.Y. 

Collins joins the Lafayette men's basketball program as an incoming freshman after a standout career at Poly Prep Country Day School in Brooklyn, N.Y. A 5-foot-10 guard, Collins earned Second Team All-Ivy honors while additionally competing on the football and track squads.

He trained with EEP Basketball under Laron Mapp, ranking 11th on the Zero Gravity circuit, and plans to major in Civil Engineering at Lafayette. Collins has volunteered multiple times for the Challenged Athletes Foundation and is a founder of Not-for-Profit (Varsity Visions). 

5 | Patrick D'Arcy | So. | G | Adelaide, Australia 

D'Arcy joins the Leopards from East Carolina University, playing in 21 contests in 2025-26. He averaged 1.1 points per game and played a season-high 20 minutes against St. Bonaventure on Nov. 27, 2025. His career-high three points came at Wichita State on Jan. 21. 

The Lafayette sophomore represented Australia's U18 National Team in 2023 before gaining professional experience in the NBL. He competed with the Adelaide 36ers in Australia's top pro league, where he was the youngest player to hit the floor that season. D'Arcy also spent time as a member of the Sturt Sabres in the NBL1, averaging 7.4 points per game. During the 2024 Albert Schweitzer Tournament, he contributed 4.7 points on 41 percent shooting through seven games. 

Previously he played at Concordia, where he emerged as one of the country's top high school prospects. The 6-foot-7 wing averaged 24 points per game during his senior season and was recognized as South Australia's Most Outstanding High School Player in 2024. Through his career, he has been tabbed as an accomplished three-point shooter, leading the nation in three's during multiple events and has consistently kept above 40 percent from beyond the arc. An intellectual student and cello player, he earned honor roll recognition and a music scholarship in high school. He plans to continue his academic career at Lafayette as a Liberal Arts major. 

13 | Jasraj Gill | Fr. | F | Brisbane, Australia 

Gill adds size and versatility to the incoming class after developing at Brisbane State High School and a short stint at Mount Vernon Academy (Utah Prep). The 6-foot-9 forward averaged 20 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal per game during his senior season. He earned a gold medal with the Combined High Schools Queensland team at the 2024 Australian National Championships. Gill collected multiple regional and state team selections, was recognized as his school's Outstanding Player of the Year and will join the Leopards as a Liberal Arts major.

In 2025, he played for the Ipswich Force and secured 3.6 points per game through 13 contests. Most recently, he competed within the NBL1 on the North Gold Coast Seahawks. He recorded 12.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.6 blocks per game through 14 outings this summer after returning from a previous injury. 

15 | Owen Kelly | Fr. | G | Doylestown, Pa. 

Kelly heads to Easton after a successful career at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, where he helped the program capture multiple 20-win seasons and earned First Team All-Inter-Ac recognition twice. Kelly averaged 16.3 points along with seven rebounds and three assists per game as a junior, surpassing the 1,000-point mark. The 6-foot-5 guard was also selected to the Labor Classic, named a Philadelphia All-American and finished his career as a two-time captain and member of the all-time leading scorers list at SCH Academy. 

Kelly, who plans to major in Economics at Lafayette, competed with Philly Revolution on the club circuit and arrives on campus with a strong academic resume as a four-year honors student. He has been a guest speaker at youth basketball camps during the summer. 

55 | Aaron Sievert | So. | G | Auckland, New Zealand

A versatile addition to the Leopards' roster, Sievert arrives in Easton after recently serving as a point guard for Casper College in Wyoming. He amassed 13.6 points and 31 minutes per game through 48 starts (57 games played) over two seasons. Sievert shot 44.8 percent from the floor and 40.3 percent from beyond the arc in addition to 81.3 percent at the line. This summer, he represented his country in the Fiba Youth Nations 3x3, winning the under-18 championship, and competed in the under-21s in Asia this past July. 

Sievert had an accomplished prep career at Northcote. He played a key role in the program's success, holding the single-game scoring record as a captain. Sievert collected an impactful statistical listing: 40 points, 7.2 rebounds 7.2 assists and 4.8 steals per game. He ranked top 20 in the national prospect camp while leading his country in scoring. His club team, Harbor Basketball, were national champions. Sievert was given a service award, while working as a prefect throughout high school. He intends to study Psychology on College Hill.
