A senior
Madi Wahrmund kill started a 4-0 run to end the first and take a one-set advantage. She closed the night with four kills and a pair of blocks.
Army fought right back and took total control of the second set before Lafayette was able to score the third set's first four points. The Black Knights quickly answered and went on an 8-0 run to make it 10-6. They led it 15-12 at the media timeout and went on a 3-0 run out of the break, then a 4-0 run late in the set to go up by two sets.
The visitors hit .349 in the third set and followed it up with a .387 performance in the fourth to take the match.
