LEXINGTON, Ky. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced its NCAA Division I All-America teams Wednesday with Lafayette College senior Leanna Deegan earning an Honorable Mention to the national teams. 

Deegan led the nation in kills per set, finishing with 5.76 a frame, leading since Sept. 26, eclipsing the 1,000 career kills mark in the Sept. 25 win at Lehigh. She had a career-high 36-kill outing against Sacred Heart and has 16 20-kill performances this season. She has hit at a .233 clip while totaling 180 digs, 24 blocks and 17 service aces.

The Easton native completes her career with 1,208 kills in 88 matches, encompassing 325 sets. Deegan led the Leopards to their most Patriot League wins ever and highest finish in the Patriot League standings in program history. Lafayette rattled off a five-match win streak at the start of conference play that included the program's first win over American in the five-set era.
