BETHLELHM, Pa. – Senior forward Martin Ssessanga of the Lafayette men's soccer team was named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday morning.
 
The Brick, New Jersey, native scored the game-winning goal in the 53^rd minute of the game, in the Leopards 1-0 season-opening win over Bucknell on Saturday. The game-winning shot marked the third goal of his career.
 
Up next for the Leopards is their home opener at 1 p.m. on Saturday against Holy Cross.
