EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to Drexel on Sunday at Mike Bourger '44 Field at Oaks Stadium.
The Dragons scored four second-half goals. Melissa Lyon started the scoring in the 53rd minute followed by goals from Gabrielle Perrotto, Klara Gorges and Delaney Lappin.
Drexel led Lafayette in shots 14-8 and 11-5 in shots on goal. Lafayette finished the afternoon with a total of eight shots - two from
Anna Garcia and
Riley Dowd and one each from
Ariana Aliprantis,
Gretchen Waechter, Melissa Lamanna and Haley Pursel.
Lindsay Dewar was credited with five saves and
Natalie Neumann had two.
Next up for the Leopards is a road trip to New Rochelle, N.Y. to play Iona at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
