EASTON, Pa. – The Lafayette College men's soccer team defeated St. Francis Brooklyn, 2-1, in come-from-behind fashion on Tuesday night at Oaks Stadium.
The Leopards were led by senior
Marcos Kitromilides who netted his third goal of the season and senior
Andrew Venezia who recorded his second assist of the season. Junior
Hale Lombard and Venezia both led the way in shots for the Maroon and White with three each.

Alex Sutton picked up his third win of the season and made two saves between the pipes in the win.
Lafayette (3-3, 0-0 PL) came out strong at the start of the game, quickly firing off a shot within the first two minutes of action. From there both sides continued to try to be the first to get on the board but it was St. Francis Brooklyn (1-3-1, 0-0 NEC) who found the back of the net first in the 26
th minute to go up 1-0.
The Leopards came out in the second half firing off three shots to the Terriers one in the first few minutes of second half action. Then in the 63
rd minute, an own goal by the Terriers brought the score to 1-1.
It was then Kitromilides, off an assist from Venezia, who netted the golden goal for the Maroon and White in the 81
st minute to give them the 2-1 victory.
The win marks their third-straight win at home this season and keeps them perfect on their home turf.
The Leopards will open up Patriot League action on Saturday, September 18, when they host Bucknell at Oaks at 5 p.m.
