EASTON, Pa. – The Lafayette College men's soccer defeated Mount St. Mary's on Friday night, 3-0, at Oaks Stadium to win their second-straight game.  
 
The Leopards were led by senior 
Marcos Kitromilides who totaled two assists in the win, and junior 
Yiannis Panayides, sophomore 
Carter Houlihan and freshman 
Jack Borden who each netted a goal in the Leopards 3-0 victory. Sophomore 
Jon Ford recorded his first collegiate assist.
 
Senior 
Alex Sutton totaled three saves and recorded his first clean slate of the season.
 
Lafayette (2-1, 0-0 PL) struck first in the 10
th minute of action when Houlihan netted his first goal of the season to give the Maroon and White an early 1-0 lead. Mount St. Mary's (1-1, 0-0 NEC) had its first opportunity in the 20
th minute to find the back of the net, but a diving save from Sutton kept the Leopards in the lead.
 
The Maroon and White got on the board once again in the 56
th minute off Panayides first goal of the season, off Kitromilides' second assist of the game, making it 2-0 in favor of Lafayette. Before Mount St. Mary's could fire off another shot, Borden netted his first collegiate goal, off of Ford's first collegiate assist, sealing the 3-0 victory for Lafayette.
 
Up next for the Leopards is a trip to Teaneck, New Jersey, on Tuesday, Sept. 7 to take on Fairleigh Dickinson.
