TEANECK, N.J. – The Lafayette College men's soccer team dropped its midweek contest on Tuesday night to Fairleigh Dickinson, 0-3.

Benji Grossi who each totaled a shot on goal. Â

Fairleigh Dickinson (2-2, 0-0 NEC) was the first to strike, finding the back of the net for the first goal of the game in the 5
th minute of action. The Knights found the back of the net once again with four minutes left to play in the first half, to push their lead out to two heading into halftime. Â

The Knights would then add a goal in the second half to push their lead out to three.

The Leopards defense held steady for the final 30 minutes of action, allowing the Knights to only record one more shot the rest of the second half. Â

Lafayette had a chance to get a tally on the board in the final three minutes of regulation after being awarded back-to-back corner kicks, but the Maroon and White couldn't find the back of the net and Fairleigh Dickinson came away with the 3-0 victory.

The Leopards will stay on the road for their second game this week, traveling to Albany, New York, on Friday to take on UAlbany at 7 p.m.
