EASTON, Pa.- The Lafayette women's lacrosse team was defeated by conference opponent No. 7 Loyola Maryland, 20-2, on Saturday morning inside Fisher Stadium. .
The Leopards scored the first goal of the contest in under two minutes, but the Greyhounds rattled off 19 unanswered goals. Each team finished with one more to end the Senior Day matchup.

Olivia Cunningham. Cunningham was also credited with the first assist.
The Crusaders totaled 20 goals, led by Chase Boyle with four. Livy Rosenzweig, Jillian Wilson, Sydni Black, Sam Fiedler, Emily Wills and Meg Hillman all tallied two goals. Georgia Latch, Catie Corolla, Lily Osborne and Gabby Stapleton each scored one apiece.
The Greyhounds held the advantage in draw controls (18-7), ground balls (19-16), shots (38-20) and clears (13-15 to 12-20). Loyola was 7-8 in free-position shots, while the Leopards went 1-6.
Lafayette's sophomore goalkeeper
Lexie Coldiron made 11 saves in the loss. Her Loyola counterparts, Kaitlyn Larsson and Lauren Spence, made six and four, respectively.
Prior to the contest, Lafayette honored its six seniors and their families on the field.
The Leopards will travel to Army for the 2022 season finale on Friday.
