LOUISVILLE – The Lafayette College men's lacrosse team along with sophomore Peter Lehman earned USILA academic recognition Tuesday morning.
 
"I am extremely proud of our team and Pete for this honor," said head coach Patrick Myers. "This is a reflection of the environment the men in our locker room have created and Pete is a great example of the special competitive balance that exists at Lafayette with academics and athletics."
 
The Leopards were touted as an All-Academic Team after posting a team GPA of 3.47 and 25 student-athletes earning Dean's List recognition.
 
As an economics major on College Hill, Lehman carries a 3.98 cumulative GPA while also leading Lafayette on the field with 34 goals, 21 assists and 55 points on the season. In this past spring semester, the Warminster, Pa. native earned a perfect 4.0 GPA.
 
The accolade adds to Lehman's 2022 resume, earning All-Patriot League Second-Team honors along with Academic All-Patriot League laurels.
 
The USILA Scholar All-America Program was established to recognize student-athletes from USILA member institutions who have distinguished themselves academically, athletically and as citizens of their communities. The USILA Selection Committee annually selects an overall team representing Division I, II and III.
