HELLERTOWN, Pa. -- The 2022 Maroon Club Golf Outing was held Monday, June 27 at Steel Club and featured a full complement of 140 golfers in a shotgun, scramble format. 

The team of Bill Tucker, Dylan Tucker, Scott Strasburg and Jeff Strasburg (pictured below) parlayed familial bonds into a first-place finish with gross score of 14-under par. Second place went to Howard Heller, Jay Mottola, Tracy Tripucka and Scott  Morse at 13-under. Lafayette basketball alums L.J. Bennett, Tim Bieg and Brian Burke were joined by former Leopard coach John Leone to take home third place at 12-under par. 

Mottola was the long drive winner for the men while Grace Sanborn brought it home for the women. Hal Kamine checked in for closest to the pin, landing within a foot of the flag stick on hole number eight. Mark Sheeleigh recorded the straightest drive on No. 1 of the Donald Ross course.
