EASTON, Pa. -Â Lafayette's fall athletic teams qualified 159 student-athletes on the 2025-26 Fall Academic Honor Roll announced on Thursday morning.
To be eligible for the laurel, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average (GPA) in the fall semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports: men's and women's cross country, field hockey, football, men's and women's soccer and volleyball.
Lafayette football led the way with 50 selections, followed by field hockey (24), women's cross country (23), men's soccer (23), women's soccer (22), volleyball (12) and men's cross country (5). Women's cross country claimed the top Leopard team GPA with 3.77 altogether.
Bucknell recorded a League-high 193 student-athletes on the fall academic honor roll, while Colgate (179) and Lafayette (159) were second and third, respectively. Lehigh had 137 student-athletes earn fall academic honors with Holy Cross (133), American (107), Boston University (92), Loyola Maryland (89), Navy (69), and Army West Point (50) rounding out the totals from the conference's full-member institutions.
Football members Fordham (57), Georgetown (46) and Richmond (34) also contributed to the League's final total of 1,346.
During the fall semester, 190 Patriot League student-athletes recorded a 4.0 GPA, an increase of 27 from the fall of 2024.
For all of Lafayette's student-athletes, 293 were named to College Hill's fall Dean's List, requiring a 3.6 GPA. Lafayette student-athletes posted a 3.42 GPA during the fall semester.Â
