EASTON, Pa. — Lafayette College has announced the promotion of Brian Winiarski '86 to Senior Associate Athletic Director for Advancement.
Winiarski, who previously served as Associate Athletic Director for Advancement and graduated from Lafayette in 1986 with a degree in History, has played a pivotal role in driving philanthropic growth, alumni engagement and strategic fundraising initiatives across all 23 varsity programs. In his elevated role, Winiarski will continue leading the athletic department's fundraising efforts, while taking on new executive responsibilities.
"Brian brings tremendous energy, enthusiasm and a genuine commitment to Lafayette Athletics. His knowledge of Lafayette, the relationships he has built across our community and his passion for our student-athletes give him a strong foundation for this role," said Director of Athletics Sherryta Freeman. "He has a clear vision for deepening connections with our coaches, alumni and donors while expanding engagement and growing support for our programs. I'm incredibly excited for Brian to take on this leadership role and for the energy and momentum he will bring to our advancement efforts."
During his tenure at Lafayette, Winiarski has overseen substantial growth in Maroon Club contributions, major gift giving and capital project support. His strategic focus has enhanced resources for facility upgrades and student-athlete development programs.

Winiarski not only brings extensive sales and business experience, but a sense of passion for Lafayette that only a dedicated alumni can exhibit. The athletic department is confident in Brian's ability to continue strengthening connections between former student-athletes, donors and the institution.
