EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette College men's lacrosse and head coach
Patrick Myers have announced the addition of goalkeeper Joe Doherty to the program's 2022 signing class.
A three-year player in goal for Malvern Prep, Doherty helped lead his team to two conference championships to go along with all-conference, all-state and conference MVP honors as a senior.
Doherty helped lead his team to a 20-3 overall record, which placed them eighth nationally, according to Inside Lacrosse.
Doherty also earned U.S. Lacrosse All-American status as a senior while receiving distinguished honors in the classroom. He plans to major in Economics on College Hill.
The son of Steve and Denise Doherty, Steve played football at the University of Pennsylvania while his mother Denise played softball at Villanova University.
