Leopard Swimming Announces Class of 2026

EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette College swimming and diving programs are proud to announce their full Class of 2026 signees. The program signed eight women and two men during the early decision period and signed two women and two men in regular decision. 
 
The Leopards welcome four new additions to the Class of 2026. Daniel Hayes (Wind Gap, Pa.) will handle sprint freestyle while Sean McManus (Lansdale, Pa.) will see time in middle distance and sprint freestyle. On the diving end, Peter Curtis (Houston, Texas) and Gianna Bobrowski (New Providence, N.J.) will be valuable contributors on the board.
 
"We are so excited to welcome the Class of 2026 to Lafayette College and to our program. They will bring so much to the classroom and pool," said head coach James Dailey. "Going into our 2022-2023 season, we have so much to look forward to and cannot wait to hit the ground running in August."

"Our team is really excited to welcome the first years and to start training together," said assistant coach Nicole Palmasano. "The Leopards are very excited for what's to come this season!"
 
Diving coach Hubert Etchison echoes the excitment coming for his fellow coaches. 

"We are pretty excited about this year's team, as we will have four women and two men competing. With five freshmen and one sophomore, this team will help redefine what Lafayette diving represents for several seasons to come," Etchison said. "We anticipate many new school records from this group, as all are diving hard over the summer to hit the ground running in the upcoming season." 
 
Recapping the full Class of 2026: Van Ess (Ashburn, Va.), Ella Desalvo (Tenafly, N.J.), Lorelei Folger (N. Chelmsford, Mass.), Emma Luttrell (Manlius, N.Y.), Megan Lovasz (Wall Township, N.J.), Kelsey Donatelli (Schwenksville, Pa.), Katie Hensell (South Bend, Ind.) and Safaya Elkhyati (Sinking Spring, Pa.),Gianna Bobrowski (New Providence, N.J.), Tommy Weber (Arlington, Va.). Aidan Boudreaux (Westborough, Mass.), Daniel Hayes (Wind Gap, Pa.), Sean McManus (Lansdale, Pa.), and Peter Curtis (Houston, Texas).
 
"We are extremely eager to start the season and to see everyone come back to campus for another successful season. Each signee from the class of 2026 plays a huge role in our program and we are looking forward to seeing them join up with their teammates in August," Dailey said.
