EASTON, Pa. - The Leopards closed out Lehigh in the final seconds, 63-60, in the 104th meeting of The Rivalry on Saturday at Kirby Sports Center.

Junior guard
Makayla Andrews drained an impressive 21 points and added eight rebounds. Sophomore guard
Abby Antognoli netted 16 points, contributing eight assists and four steals.

Lehigh was led by senior guard Frannie Hottinger who had a double-double with 21 points and 14 rebounds. Junior guard Jamie Behar chipped in 13 points.

The Mountain Hawks controlled the first quarter, leading 24-13, with Hottinger reaching double-figures with 10 points.

Lafayette exploded for 22 points in the second quarter, limiting Lehigh to eight. The Leopards came back from an 11-point deficit to lead 35-32 heading into halftime. Antognoli led the offense with 14 points at the break.

Lehigh outrebounded the Leopards, 17-9 in the third with its bench chipping in 17 points to regain the 47-43 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Lafayette put together a 14-8 run from the start of the fourth to 1:40, taking the 59-54 lead. Andrews led the run with six points from three jumpers.

With 37 seconds remaining, Lehigh's Ella Stemmer drained a three to put the Mountain Hawks down 59-58.

The Leopards ran down the shot clock, before Antognoli dished the ball to Smith, who netted the layup that put the Leopards up 61-58 with 10 seconds remaining.

Hottinger responded with a layup to bring Lehigh within one with seven seconds remaining.
Lehigh's Mackenzie Kramer was forced to foul Andrews with five seconds on the clock, and Andrews drained both from the line to finish off the win.

Lehigh had a final possession to tie the game, but Lafayette forced a turnover to nab the 63-60 win.
