The Terriers were led by Patriot League Player of the Week, Caitlin Weimar, who had a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds. Sydney Johnson also chipped in 11 as one of four double-digit scorers, scoring her 1,000th career point in the third quarter.

Makayla Andrews sank four points as the Leopards kept it close in the first quarter, heading to break trailing 15-13.

Weimer exploded for 14 points in the second session and grabbed seven rebounds, giving the Terriers the 34-27 lead at half.

Boston U. opened the second half with a 16-5 run over the first five minutes to lead 50-32. The Terriers shot 80 percent (4-for-5) from beyond the arc and 75 percent (6-for-8) from the floor during the run. Alex Giannaros scored eight points in the run and Maggie Pina contributed five.

The Terriers' run extended the rest of the quarter 23-7, stretching the lead to 57-34 heading into the final quarter.

The Leopards tallied 14 points in the fourth in a 66-48 final.
Lafayette will head back on the road for a contest on Sunday at Bucknell at 2 p.m.
