LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Leopards dropped a 56-44 decision Sunday afternoon against Bucknell at Sojka Pavilion.

Senior Jess Booth and junior
Makayla Andrews led the Leopards in double figures with 13 points apiece. Junior
Kayla Drummond joined her teammates in double figures, chipping in 12 points.

The Bison were led by freshman guard Emma Theodorsson who had a career-high 23 points.Â

Lafayette and Bucknell shot evenly from the floor in the opening quarter, but a Bison three-pointer gave the hosts a 11-8 lead heading into the second quarter.

The Bison went on a 13-4 run over the final 6:18 of the second quarter to hold a 28-14 halftime lead. Booth netted both baskets for the Leopards while Bucknell's Tai Johnson led its run with six points.

Bucknell extended its lead to as much as 21 points in the third, heading into the final quarter up 45-26.

Lafayette put up 12 points in the fourth, with Drummond and Booth chipping in six and five, respectively. The Bison held on to take the victory 54-39.

Lafayette returns to Kirby Sports Center on Wednesday to host Navy at 6 p.m.
