EASTON, Pa.- Freshman outside hitter Emma Patmon was named Patriot League Volleyball Rookie of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.

The Round Rock, Texas native tallied a double-double with 14 kills and 11 digs, while hitting .361 in a 3-2 loss to Loyola this past weekend. This was Patmon's third double-double of the season. Patmon also added two aces and two block assists in the Leopards' match against Loyola.

The outside hitter has accumulated over 120 kills on the season for the Leopards along with 10 service aces.

The Lafayette volleyball team is back in action at 7 p.m. on Friday as it travels to West Point, N.Y. to face Army.
