BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh's six-goal third quarter guided the Mountain Hawks to a 15-9 win in The Rivalry matchup on Saturday afternoon.

The Leopards were led by
Kalman Kraham who scored three goals. The Maroon and White had six different goal scorers on the afternoon. Lehigh was led by Justin Tiernan with four goals. The Mountain Hawks also had two with five assists apiece in Christian Mule' and Scott Cole.

John Mathes started off the afternoon's scoring in his first game played since Loyola on Mar. 4. Kraham scored his first of the game as Lehigh led 3-2 heading into the second quarter.

The second was a low-scoring quarter for both teams as Lehigh maintained a 5-3 lead at half.
Brian Collins contributed the lone goal for Leopards.

Lehigh opened the third with a three-goal run, taking an 8-3 lead with 10:20 remaining in the third quarter.
Sean Rushton broke up the run with his second goal of the season, putting Lafayette within four, down 8-4 with 7:28 left in the third. Lehigh scored three more to head into the fourth quarter up 11-4.

Ryan Duncan and
Charlie Cunniffe each netted their first goals of the afternoon in the fourth quarter, as Kraham scored two in a row followed by a Lehigh own goal. Lehigh held on to take the 15-9 decision.

Rookie goalkeeper
Joe Doherty had a career-high 18 saves on the afternoon. Lehigh's Mike Sisselberger went 19-for-22 from the faceoff x.

Lafayette returns to Fisher Stadium next Saturday to host Holy Cross at noon.
