EASTON, Pa.- A six-point performance by freshman attacker
Charlotte Edwards gave way to a 12-10 victory over the Boston University Terriers on Saturday afternoon in Fisher Stadium.

Clare Culligan and
Sara Rogers tallied one goal apiece. The Maroon and White's offensive line made well-executed plays and combined for eight assists.
Lafayette took an early 3-1 lead at the end of the first quarter with goals at 11:25, 9:35 and 4:36.
Boston had a three-goal run late in the second period, but could not overcome the deficit before halftime. Bennett (9:56), Romano (7:31) and Chiasson's (3:49) scores kept the Leopards up, 6-5, at the buzzer.
Another 3-1 quarter in favor of the Maroon and White made for a 9-6 advantage in favor of Lafayette with 15 minutes remaining in the contest.
The Leopards added three more tallies throughout the fourth period, which was enough to fend off four Terrier goals, including two from the team's leading scorer, Jennifer Barry, for a 12-10 final.
Lafayette held the advantage in ground balls (26-19) and shots (35-28), while Boston led in draw controls (14-12). The Leopards went 21-22 in clears compared to the Terriers 17-18.
Lafayette's junior goalkeeper
Lexie Coldiron stood tall in the net and made 13 saves on 23 shots faced for a career-high .565 save percentage during today's game. Her Terrier counterpart, Reilly Agres, made 11 saves on 23 shots on goal.
The Leopards travel to Holy Cross next Saturday for a 1 p.m. contest.
