EASTON, Pa. – On Apr. 21, the Lafayette men's lacrosse program honored its seniors prior to the final regular season Patriot League matchup. The Leopards went on to defeat Bucknell 14-13 in overtime, clinching the programs first Patriot League Tournament berth since 2010.
"We are incredibly proud of this group's accomplishments since stepping foot on campus in the fall of 2019. This Class has combined in their 4 years for over 480 hours of community service and were honored by the IMLCA as the winner of the 2022 Sticks & Service Award, given to a Division I lacrosse team who leads the country in community service efforts," Myers said. "Academically they have set the standard. This class helped achieve the highest male team GPA on campus, leading the Patriot League over the past two years with Academic Honor Roll selections including 41 in 2022. Based on these accomplishments they were honored as a USILA All-Academic Team with a combined GPA of 3.47. These young men have been pivotal in driving both on and off the field success in their time here on College Hill."
Senior manager
Jack Harrison has been with the program for four years, playing for two seasons and was a Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection. He will graduate with a degree in Economics and a minor in religious studies.
Gunnar Bogorowski is a midfielder hailing from Glenside, Pennsylvania. He played in 47 career games and has scored one career goal, dished out four assists and picked up 42 ground balls. An Economics major with a certificate in Financial Policy and Analysis, he is a three-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection.
Liam DiFonzo is from Springfield, Pennsylvania. The senior midfielder is graduating with a degree in economics. He is a two-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll honoree.
Brian Collins is from Vienna, Virginia, and will graduate with a major in civil engineering and a minor in economics. He is a three-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection, playing in 43 games, counting 12 goals and eight assists.
Sean Rushton is a three-time captain for the Maroon and White. The senior defender has played in 46 games, making 15 starts. He picked up 117 ground balls and has accumulated 35 caused turnovers. A native of Media, Pennsylvania, he will graduate with a major in economics and a minor in organizational studies.
Macklin Fitzpatrick has been one of the Leopards' contributing midfielders during his time on College Hill. The Dover, Massachusetts native played in 47 games, of which he started 21. The Economics major is a two-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll honoree who has scored 30 goals and has dished out eight assists.
Peyton McNeill will graduate from Lafayette with a degree in Civil engineering. Hailing from Newark, Delaware, he has played in nine games for the Leopards and is a three-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection.
Will Moran is a goalkeeper from Dallas, Texas. He is a three-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection and will graduate with a degree in Economics, as well as a Certificate in Financial Policy and Analysis and a minor in Data Science.
Tommy McGee is a mainstay on the defense and two-time captain, playing in 45 games, making 43 starts. He has scored one goal and dished out two assists, picked up 92 ground balls and has 44 caused turnovers. The Ridgewood, New Jersey native majors in Economics with a minor in organization studies and a Certificate in Financial Policy and Analysis. He is a three-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection.
Ryan Duncan scored 32 goals and contributed 11 assists during his time on College Hill. He played in 35 games, making 18 starts and is a three-time selection to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. Hailing from Leesburg, Virginia, he is majoring in Economics with a Certificate in Financial Policy and Analysis & a Psychology Minor.
JP Robinson is a three-time captain of the Leopards, and another mainstay on the defense. He has played in 37 games, making 31 starts. The Woodstock, Georgia native has 22 caused turnovers and 34 ground balls. He is a three-time Academic All-Patriot League selection and will graduate with a degree in Neuroscience.
James Turco is a faceoff specialist from Woodbury, New York. He played in 37 games and has an overall record of 241-505 from the faceoff "x." Majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies (Entrepreneurship & Marketing), and minoring in Organizational Studies, he is a three-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection.
