EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette College men's basketball program and second-year head coach
Mike McGarvey have released the full 2024-25 schedule, set to begin on Nov. 4 at Villanova.
Two road games bookend the home opener versus Penn at Kirby Sports Center on Nov. 12. The first five opponents the Leopards will travel to are Villanova, La Salle (Nov. 9), Cornell (Nov. 16) and Rhode Island (Nov. 20).
The Maroon and White play Rosemont on Nov. 24 before hosting Long Island, Niagara and Binghamton from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1 in the inaugural 2024 Lafayette Multi-Team Event.
Three business trips to Mercyhurst (Dec. 7), George Washington (Dec. 18) and Portland (Dec. 21) with a final home game against Stonehill (Dec. 29) conclude the non-conference season. The University of Portland is the farthest the Leopards have traveled since the program went to Southern California on Dec. 23, 2015 and last year's journey to California for No. 25 UCLA and Pepperdine.
The Patriot League slate begins on Jan. 2 versus Boston U. before traveling to Navy and Bucknell. Next up, Lafayette alternates a home and away status with Holy Cross, Army, Colgate and Loyola.
The Rivalry matchups take place at Lehigh on Jan. 25 and at Lafayette on Feb. 22. American closes out the first month of the new year on Jan. 29.
February's opponents include Colgate (1), Loyola (5), Navy (8), American (12), Bucknell (15), Holy Cross (19) and Army (26) for the second meeting of the year. The final regular-season contest takes place at Boston U. on Mar. 1.
The Patriot League Tournament runs from March 4-12, with three rounds leading up to the 2025 PenFed Credit Union Patriot League Men's Basketball Championship. All games within the first three rounds will be hosted by the higher seed.
Each game time is yet to be determined and the schedule is subject to change. All Lafayette men's basketball home games can be seen on ESPN+ and select games will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
Individual non-conference tickets go on sale on Oct. 1 at 7 a.m. Tickets for Patriot League contests will follow.
