PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Leopard diving squad took on Duquesne, Cleveland State and George Mason at Carnegie Mellon on Friday evening.
For the men, sophomore Landon Orth secured fourth in the 1-meter dive with a score of 240.35 and fifth in the 3-meter dive, earning a 214.35. Junior Peter Curtis collected eighth in the 1-meter (187.65) and ninth in the 3-meter (185.60).
Sophomore Trey Telleen reeled in ninth and seventh in the 1-and 3-meter dives with scores of 178.55 and 204.90, respectively.
On the women's side, sophomore Mia Guster snagged sixth in the 1-meter with a score of 223.90. In the 3-meter, Guster finished eighth, scoring 224.25. Senior Shaylee Daniels achieved eighth in the 1-meter (211.15) and 12th in the 3-meter (214.35). Junior Katie Hensell placed 17th in the 1-meter (177.80) and sixth in the 3-meter (230.50).
Junior Gianna Bobrowski took home 19th and 17th in the 1-and 3-meter dives, finishing with 173.50 and 181.45, respectively, while freshman Amelia Mee collected 20th in the 1-meter (165.80) and 16th in the 3-meter (186.50).
The swimming and diving team returns to action at Rider on Jan. 23 at 5 p.m.
