"Today's last dual meet of the season went well for the men. This was a unique meet in that it was non-traditional. No one knew what they were swimming until the event and participants' names were shown on the video board. Everyone's name was drawn from a hat the day before," said Lafayette head coach James Dailey. "We had a lot of people that normally don't swim the events they competed in today. It was the perfect way to end our dual meet season and interim training period."
"Our focus is on next weekend and the Patriot League Championships at Bucknell in a couple weeks," Dailey continued. "We're excited for both. Our top five have never been this fast and we are looking forward to a great taper period."
The Maroon and White, both the men's and women's teams, resume competition at the Bison Invite hosted by Bucknell on Feb. 1 at 12 p.m.
