EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette's 
Lena Thedrian was named the Patriot League's Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, on Monday afternoon.
The Leopards improved to 11-6 (5-1 PL) overall with a 7-2 home record after closing out the regular season with Delaware on Oct. 31.
Thedrian was a key playmaker on both sides of the field in Newark, Del. She capped her junior campaign off with a second hat trick, the first of which took place against league foe Holy Cross on Oct. 10. Defensively, the Hamburg, Germany native aided the squad in holding the hosts to 12 shots on goal and eight penalty corners.
Josephine van Wijk was listed as honorable mention for her efforts this weekend.
Next up, the Maroon and White travel to Washington, D.C. on Thursday for the Patriot League Tournament's semifinal round. Lafayette, the second seed and home team at the neutral site, is slated to play No. 3 Bucknell at 2 p.m.
