EASTON, Pa. - The defending Patriot League champion Leopards earned the second seed in the 2025 Patriot League Championship for the third-straight season as announced by the conference office on Saturday afternoon.
Field hockey closed out its regular league slate with a 1-0 win over Boston U. on Oct. 24 to complete an 11-6, 5-1 PL record.
On Thursday at 2 p.m., Lafayette will face third-seeded Bucknell in the semifinal round, held in Washington, D.C. During the regular season on Sept. 26, the Maroon and White downed the Bison, 2-1 in overtime at Rappolt Field.
Both matches in the semifinal round on Nov. 6 and the 2025 Patriot League Field Hockey Championship Match on Saturday, Nov. 8, will be available live on ESPN+ with Cory Nidoh calling the plays and Gabby DiPaula providing analysis.
