MADISON, N.J. - The Lafayette fencing team opened its 2025-26 campaign at the Rangers Fall Invitational on Sunday at Drew University'.
The Leopards competed in matches against NJIT, Stevens, Drew, Haverford, Wheaton, Wellesley, LIU and Denison.
The women were paced by sophomore foil
Zoe Lenz, who won 13 bouts. Sophomore epee
Hilla Wetherill recorded nine wins. Freshman epee
Helen Broikos had two wins and freshman foil
Margaret Narula won one bout.
The men were led by sophomore saber
Nikita Kogan and freshman foil
William Nicoll, who both ended the day winning eight bouts. Senior epee
Tyler Morse and sophomore saber
Jordan Ginsberg recorded seven and six wins, respectively. Sophomore epee
Ryan Leibowitz had four victories, while freshman foil
Ryan Kramer had two. Freshman foil
Quinn Alvarez, freshman epee
Henry Cohen and senior saber
Christopher Rafferty all recorded one win.
The Lafayette fencing team continues its season Sunday, traveling to Vassar for the Vassar Invite.
