Leopards Close Out 2025 Slate at FDU Invite

Lenz won 10 bouts for Lafayette

TEANECK, N.J. - The Lafayette fencing team competed in its final event of the season before beginning winter break, as the Leopards traveled to Fairleigh Dickinson for the FDU Invite on Sunday.

 The Leopards competed in matches against Stevens, FDU, Hunter and Yeshiva, with Lafayette defeating Yeshiva, 14-11.

The women were led by sophomore foil Zoe Lenz, who had a 10-2 record in 12 bouts fenced. Sophomore epee Hilla Wetherill amassed eight wins. Junior saber Makenna McCall garnered five victories. Freshman epee Helen Broikos and freshman foil Cora Davia, won four and three bouts, respectively, while freshman foil Margaret Narula had two wins.

The Maroon and White are next in action when they return from winter break and travel to Penn for the Philadelphia Invite on Jan 17.
