Emma Ahlborn each tallied a hit and RBI in an 11-2 loss on Sunday to East Carolina on the final day of the Tiger Invitational.

Dani Rosner to second, O'Neill knocked a single into left field to bring home Rosner and advance another 60 feet after a fielding error. A sacrifice fly from
Olivia Catalina allowed Ahlborn to utilize O'Neill on third, as the Coatesville, Pa. native shot a single to right to score the Leopards' second run of the inning.
East Carolina concluded the Tiger Invitational by collecting 15 hits in the contest, with four Pirates registering multi-hit games. Morgan Johnson led the way for East Carolina, tallying two hits, including a home run and two RBIs. The Pirates did a majority of their damage in the first two innings, scoring a combined nine runs. The second inning saw East Carolina have six runs cross home plate, all of which came from singles.
Ava Fisher earned the win for the opponents after allowing two hits over two innings of work. Freshman
Sophia Alvarez-Backus was given the loss after giving up 10 runs on 12 hits over 2.2 innings.
Lafayette continues the season next week when it travels to University Park, Pa. to take part in the Penn State Invitational.
