EASTON, Pa. - Army used a 12-goal first half to defeat Lafayette, 21-2, on Saturday afternoon in Fisher Stadium.
The Black Knights, who were coming off a win over No. 4 Stanford on Wednesday, made an initial 6-0 run by the two-minute mark of the first quarter.
Kristin Igneri put the Leopards on the board at 1:05 before trailing 7-2 at the start of the next period.
Army held Lafayette scoreless in the second and third quarters, extending the lead to 17-1 with 15 minutes left to play.
The Black Knights added four more tallies by 3:25, giving
Sophia Spallone room to secure a second goal for Lafayette at 1:26 for the 21-2 final.
Army held the advantage in ground balls (17-9) and shots (38-21). Draw controls were tied at 13 with Lafayette's
Katie Marrs collecting a team-high six.

Kennedy Carr split the net for the Leopards. Carr made seven saves in her first home debut of 2025. Their opposing counterparts, Lindsey Serafine (10) and Anderson Strange (1) combined for 11 saves.
Next up, the Leopards travel to Loyola, Md. on April 5. Opening draw is set for 12 p.m.
