EASTON, Pa. - Christian Kiselica, who has served as Lafayette's volleyball head coach for the past two seasons, is stepping down from his role in order to pursue professional opportunities outside of collegiate athletics. A national search for his successor will begin immediately. 

"We want to thank Christian for his dedicated service to Lafayette athletics and our volleyball program," said Lafayette Director of Athletics Sherryta Freeman. "We wish him the best of luck in his next stop."

Over the course of his two seasons in Easton, Kiselica tallied a coaching record of 16-33 (7-25 Patriot League). His biggest win at the helm of the program came in 2024 at the VCU Invitational, when he led Leopards to a 3-1 victory over ACC foe Virginia Tech. It marked the first victory in program history over a Power 4 school in the Patriot League era.  

In his first season on College Hill, Kiselica coached Gracie Gibson '24 who led the Patriot League in hitting percentage (.381) and ranked fifth in the conference in blocks (1.02 bpg) on her way to 2023 All-Patriot League Second-Team honors. 

Prior to his arrival on College Hill, Kiselica served as the head coach at Cedar Crest College, where he guided the program to a Colonial States Athletic Conference title and an NCAA Tournament berth. 

"Coaching this team has been an incredible honor, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to have worked with such dedicated and talented student-athletes," Kiselica said. "Watching them grow both on and off the court has been the most rewarding part of my career, and I will truly miss being part of their journey. While this decision was not an easy one, I am excited for the next chapter and will always be cheering for our athletes' continued success."
