WORCESTER, Mass. – Lafayette baseball fell to Holy Cross, 20-2, in its series finale on Sunday at Fitton Field.
The Crusaders opened the scoring in the third, scoring on a sacrifice fly by Gianni Royer and a fielder's choice by Chris Baillargeon, to make the score 2-0. Holy Cross extended its lead in the fourth plating eight runs, and then drove in 10 more runs in the fifth.

Ethan Swidler on a two-run single that brought the score to 20-2, which proved to be the final.
Jaden Wywoda earned the win, working 6.0 innings, giving up two hits and two runs while striking out five. Junior
Trace Florio took the loss, pitching 4.1 innings, surrendering 10 runs on eight hits and striking out six.
The Leopards travel to Manhattan for their final mid-week contest of the season on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
