EASTON, Pa. – Four Lafayette softball student-athletes have secured Academic All-District honors from College Sports Communicators (CSC), announced on Tuesday.

Senior
Mary Grace O'Neill adds the Academic All-District distinction to Academic All-Patriot League laurels and an All-Patriot League First-Team selection in 2025. O'Neill hit for a .423 average in her senior season (second in the conference and third best in Lafayette history). She led the Leopards in hits (52), doubles (11), on-base percentage (.455) and stolen bases (11). O'Neill graduates third in career stolen bases (35) after setting a Lafayette single-season record in 2024 with 24 swipes.

A native of Pleasantville, N.Y., O'Neill graduated with a degree in Economics and a secondary concentration in data science. The rightfielder and lead-off hitter maintained a 3.54 cumulative GPA entering her final semester on College Hill. She will now be placed on the ball for national consideration within Academic All-America ranks which will be announced June 17.

Fellow outfielder
Olivia Catalina collected her first career Academic All-District honor. The junior Neuroscience major from Galloway, N.J. started all 38 games in center field for the Leopards in 2025, finishing second on the team in stolen bases (6). She boasts a 3.77 GPA and is a neurobiology lab assistant while aiding in BTBR mice research.

Sophomore
Regan Dillon was second on the Lafayette roster in batting, with a .293 average while tying for the team lead in home runs (3). In conference play, the Argyle, Texas native was especially efficient at first base, hitting for a .413 clip while sporting a .509 on-base percentage in 18 games. She holds a 3.58 GPA while majoring in Biology.

Katie Harrington played at the opposite of corner of Dillon in the infield, starting every game at third base. The Warrenton, Va. native led the team with 17 RBI and tied with Dillon for the team lead in home runs. The Engineering major holds a 3.54 GPA.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District laurels, nominees must maintain a 3.5 or better GPA, be a starter or key reserve and have completed one full school year.
