Golf Finalizes 2025 Recruiting Class

Three newcomers set to join the Leopards in the fall

EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette golf added three student-athletes for the 2025-26 season. Head coach Jim Hutnik welcomes Viktor Kofod-Olsen, Liam Brandt and Chris Vahey into the fold, joining the roster in the fall.

"We are very excited with our recruiting class. I believe they have the ability to step right in and help the program," Hutnik said. "These players have the chance to make an impact from the first day. The goal is to get the team back to the top, and with the combination of our returning players, we have the ability to make that jump.

Liam Brandt | 5-9 | 150 | Chester, N.J./Mendham

A two-year captain at Mendham, Brandt collected a multitude of accomplishments in his four years in high school, including all-state and all-conference selections. During his senior year, Brandt won a state and sectional championship. Brandt was an honor roll student who also served as a youth ministry retreat team leader.

Viktor Kofod-Olsen | 6-1 | 191 | Dubai, UAE/GEMS Wellington International School

Kofod-Olsen joins older brother Valdemar at Lafayette. In high school, Kofod-Olsen earned four individual victories and had 14 finishes within the top five. Kofod-Olsen played on the Tommy Fleetwood Academy Dubai Elite team, while also excelling in soccer and basketball. 

Chris Vahey | 5-11 | 160 | Elkins Park, Pa./La Salle College High School


Vahey comes to College Hill after serving as a captain his senior year of high school. Vahey was an all-conference selection after becoming the first golfer to win both the league and district titles as an individual golfer. Vahey was also an honor roll student who was a member of the National Honor Society.
